Sunny Beach FAQ · Quality

Is Sunny Beach, Bulgaria any good?

Sunny Beach is a solid choice if you want an affordable Black Sea holiday with wide shallow sand, lifeguarded swimming, and predictable July to August heat of 28 to 30 degrees Celsius. The 8 kilometre strand is Blue Flag rated, family friendly in the north end, and packed with bars, clubs, and live venues toward the south. A week in a self catering studio in June typically runs 250 to 400 GBP for two, and meals out average 8 to 14 GBP per person. Sunny Beach earns criticism for late night noise and pushy street touts, but once you choose the right end of the resort, most UK visitors rate it good value and good fun.
